Laten we nog wat schoon volk verwelkomen in het nieuwe jaar, en waarom niet Jenny McCarthy. Jullie kennen haar vast wel van haar flamboyante en agressieve presentaties en haar wacko-filmpjes op MTV. Ze is niet meteen een acteertalent, dus gaat ze een poging ondernemen om haar schrijftalenten uit te testen, althans volgens Killer Movies.

Jenny vertelt er over haar nieuwe film Dirty Love (2005) van regisseur (en man van Jenny) John Mallory Asher, die ze zelf heeft geschreven en waarin ze ook zal acteren. Jenny was het beu om constant ge-type-cast te worden en besloot dus om zelf te touwtjes in handen te nemen. En om zeker te zijn dat de film genoeg aandacht zou halen, schapte ze de closule over naakt opnames. Jenny McCarthy gaat dus voor Dirty Love topless en nog veel verder, maar alles met humor verdedigt ze prompt:

"After weighing 200 pounds when I was pregnant, I wanted to show off my shit. I realized, 'You know what? I love being hot.' One day on the set I said, 'John, I've been thinking about foreign sales, and there needs to be some tits. But I don't want it to be gratuitous. There has to be a laugh behind it.' So I said to Carmen before filming started, 'Listen, my boob's going to fall out in this scene and I want you to say, 'Girl, your big ol' titty's hanging out.' I'll do anything as long as it doesn't make people vomit."

McCarthy verklaart verder: "The premise is a girl that walks in on her boyfriend sleeping with another woman and she seeks revenge on him the entire time. You know I wrote it, so it's gotta be pretty controversially insane"…. "It's also about ecstasy. There's so many people taking it and not enough people making fun of it, so I wrote a comedy about it. It's pretty insane. I have no words of wisdom about it, it's just plain funny."

Ik had mij even in mijn koffie verslikt toen ik las dat zij een scenario had geschreven. Ik spuwde de koffie uit bij het lezen dat het om een komedie zou gaan over 'ecstasy'?! Dit is nu eens typisch voor Hollywood. Ze blijven maar geld pompen in oppervlakkigheid. In de film, geregisseerd door haar man John Mallory Asher, zal ook haar vriendinnetje Carmen Elektra verschijnen. Misschien kunnen we toch even een kijkje gaan nemen en aan de bioscoopuitbater vragen om gewoon de klank uit te zetten.
